Derroura Mountain Bike Trail and bike hire is one of Coilltes custom built and designed trails in the beautiful setting of Leitirfore (5 minute drive from Lakeside House)

Visit Aughnanure Castle, Oughterard,  Connemara’s best preserved late-medieval tower house,  Built in the late-fifteenth century, the castle served as the stronghold of the O’Flaherty Gaelic lords of Iarchonnacht (West Connacht) for over two centuries.

Take a Corrib Cruises across Lough Corrib to Ashford Castle

At Glengowla Mines and Family Farm Experience you will find lots to do- an Underground Mine Tour, Sheep Herding and Traditional Irish Turf Cutting Demonstrations.
